Product description

The ideal gauge for maintenance, troubleshooting and to measure performance of individual stationary batteries and battery banks used in critical battery back-up applications

  • Key measurements: Internal battery resistance, direct and alternating voltage, direct and alternating current strength, ripple voltage, frequency and temperature
  • Sequence measurement mode: Automatic or manual sequential testing of battery series with automatic storage of measurements including voltage, resistance and temperature (with intelligent measuring probe BTL21), eliminating the need to press a button each time a measurement needs to be stored
  • Comprehensive recording: All measured values are automatically recorded during measurement and can be viewed on the instrument before downloading for analysis on the go.

Reduced measurement complexity, simplified workflow and an intuitive user interface provide a new level of ease of use when measuring batteries.

  • The ideal measurement tool for maintenance, troubleshooting and to measure performance of individual stationary batteries and battery banks used in critical battery back-up applications
  • Intuitive user interface, compact design and robust construction ensure optimal performance, measurement results and reliability
  • Includes a wide range of battery measurement functions, ranging from DC voltage and resistance measurements to full condition measurements using automated sequence function measurements and the infrared temperature measurement system integrated into the measurement probe
  • Designed for measurements on all types of stationary batteries.

Threshold values for voltage and resistance

Fluke battery analysers allow you to quickly and easily define upper and lower threshold values and tolerance ranges. During the testing process, measured values are automatically compared with the predefined thresholds and you get a PASS (good), FAIL (error) or WARN (warning) after each measurement.

Fluke battery management software

Fluke battery management software lets you easily and quickly import data from the battery analyser to a PC. The measurement data and battery profile information are stored and archived with the Management Software and can be used to compare results, switch results between conductivity and resistivity values and perform trend analysis. All measurement data, battery profile and analysis information can be used to easily generate reports.

  • Quick display of stored measurement values
  • Profile management
  • Histogram of a battery series with end-user-defined threshold value
  • Historical trend data of batteries
  • Multiple rounds of discharge voltage
  • Quickly generate reports
  • Upgrade firmware of Fluke Battery Analyzer
  • Swap readings between conductance and resistance readings

Fluke Battery Analyze mobile app

The BT521 offers wireless communication for data download and remote display while measuring via the dedicated Fluke Battery Analyzer mobile app (note: the Fluke BT521 is currently not compatible with Fluke Connect). With the Fluke Battery Analyze mobile app, you can

  • View profiles
  • View Sequence test data
  • Email sequence test data

Main features of the Fluke BT510

  • Battery voltage: While measuring internal resistance, Fluke Battery Analyzers also measure the voltage of the battery under test
  • Discharge voltage: In Discharge mode, during a discharge or load test, the voltage of each battery is measured several times at user-defined intervals. Users can calculate the length of time after which a battery reaches the shutdown voltage and use this time to calculate the battery's capacity loss
  • Ripple voltage measurement: measures unwanted residual AC component of rectified voltage in DC charging and inverter circuits. Allows users to measure AC components in DC charging circuits and find one of the causes of battery deterioration
  • Meter (Meter) and Sequence (Sequence) modes: Meter mode is used for quick measurement or fault finding. In this mode, you can store and read readings in a measurement or time sequence. Sequence mode is intended for maintenance tasks in multiple power supply systems and battery series. Before starting a task, users can configure a profile for the task, to manage data and create reports
  • Threshold and warning: users can configure up to 10 sets of threshold values and receive a good/error/warning indication after each measurement
  • Resistance test mutual cell connections and Data Management: measures the resistance of the mutual cell connection between batteries in a series.
  • AutoHold: When AutoHold is enabled, a reading is captured when it remains stable for 1 second. The reading is released when a new measurement starts
  • AutoSave: When AutoSave is enabled, readings are automatically stored in the product's internal memory after AutoHold
  • Fluke Battery management software: Easily import data from the product to a PC. With the management software, measurement data and battery profile information are stored and archived after which they can be used for comparison and trend analysis. All measurement data and battery profile information and analysis can be used for easy report creation
  • Comprehensive recording: All measured values are automatically captured during recording and can be reviewed on the instrument before downloading for analysis on the go.
  • Optimised user interface: Quick, guided set-up ensures that you always capture the right data
  • Battery life: 7.4V 3000mAh lithium-ion battery for more than eight hours of continuous use.
  • USB port: For fast data download to included data analysis and report management application software.
  • Highest safety specification in the industry: specification CAT III 600V, 1000VDC max for safe measurements around battery power equipment.
